Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 18, 2026

Nior Labs respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Nior Labs Research LLC d/b/a Nior Labs ("Nior Labs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit our website, create an account, place an order, contact us, or otherwise interact with our Services.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

Information you provide

  • Name, email address, telephone number, and account details
  • Date of birth or age-verification information
  • Shipping address and order details
  • Research-use acknowledgements, compliance certifications, terms-acceptance timestamps, and related information
  • Communications with customer support
  • Information you submit through forms, account settings, or order notes

Payment information

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (for example, NOWPayments for cryptocurrency, PeerPay for peer-to-peer fiat, and an approved card processor when card payments are enabled). Nior Labs does not store complete payment-card numbers or CVV codes. We may receive limited transaction information, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, payment method, and fraud-prevention results.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, operating system, device and network information
  • Pages viewed, referring pages, interactions with the Services, and approximate usage information
  • Cookies, local-storage preferences, and similar technologies
  • Security, fraud-prevention, rate-limiting, and account-protection information
  • Order-related compliance records (for example, research-acknowledgement timestamps and associated IP address)

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services
  • Create and manage accounts
  • Process orders, payments, shipping, returns, and refunds
  • Verify age, research-use acknowledgements, and compliance information
  • Communicate about orders, accounts, security, support, and policy updates
  • Detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, misuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity
  • Comply with legal, accounting, tax, recordkeeping, and payment-provider obligations
  • Send marketing communications in accordance with applicable law and the practices described in Section 5

3. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to service providers acting on our behalf, including:

  • Payment processors (for example, NOWPayments, PeerPay, and approved card processors when enabled)
  • Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners
  • Email and communications providers (for example, Resend)
  • Hosting, cloud-storage, database, security, and infrastructure providers (for example, Vercel and Supabase)
  • Analytics providers (for example, Vercel Analytics, when enabled with consent)
  • Advertising and conversion-measurement providers when configured and permitted (for example, Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok)
  • Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required or permitted by law

We may also disclose personal information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction.

We do not sell personal information for money.

If marketing pixels or advertising-conversion services are enabled (including browser pixels and related server-side conversion events), disclosures to those providers may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain privacy laws. We will provide applicable choices and honor applicable opt-out rights as described in Sections 4 and 9.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Controls

We use essential technologies for security, authentication, cart functionality, age verification, and site operation.

With your consent where required, we may use analytics and marketing technologies to understand site performance and measure advertising campaigns. You may select "Essential Only" or "Accept All" through our cookie banner. You can also manage browser cookies and settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.

To limit targeted-advertising or data-sharing choices associated with our site cookies, choose "Essential Only" on the cookie banner (or clear site data and select Essential Only again). California residents and others with applicable rights may also submit a request as described in Section 9. We do not currently automatically process Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals; email privacy@niorlabs.com to request opt-out of sale or sharing where applicable.

5. Marketing Communications

We may send transactional communications, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, password resets, security notices, and policy updates.

We may send promotional emails about products, offers, or updates to email addresses associated with accounts or orders. To opt out of promotional emails, contact privacy@niorlabs.com or support@niorlabs.com with the subject line "Marketing Opt-Out" and the email address to suppress. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary transactional communications. We do not currently provide an automated unsubscribe link in every promotional email; we process opt-out requests manually.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping requirements.

Our current retention periods are:

  • Order and transaction records: up to 7 years
  • Customer-support communications: up to 3 years
  • Marketing opt-out and suppression records: as long as needed to honor your request
  • Security and fraud-prevention information: for a period reasonably necessary to protect the Services and address suspected misuse

We may retain information longer where required or permitted by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized account activity.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Know or access personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing where applicable
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Appeal certain privacy-rights decisions where applicable
  • Receive information about our data practices

To submit a request, email privacy@niorlabs.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Include your name, email address, request type, and enough information for us to verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request where applicable law permits. We may request proof of authorization and verify your identity.

9. California Privacy Notice

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

If Nior Labs sells or shares personal information as defined by applicable California law—including disclosures to advertising or conversion-measurement providers when those services are enabled—California residents may submit a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" request by emailing privacy@niorlabs.com or by choosing "Essential Only" on our cookie banner to limit cookie-based advertising technologies on this site.

Nior Labs does not discriminate against consumers for exercising applicable privacy rights.

10. International Visitors

Nior Labs is based in the United States and provides Services primarily to U.S. customers. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.

11. Age Restriction

The Services are not directed to individuals under 21 years old. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 21 to create an account or purchase products. If you believe someone under 21 provided personal information to us, contact privacy@niorlabs.com.
